Baringo County Government - Access to quality education

Access to quality education is one of the key economic pillars of development and a life-changing opportunity that helps break the cycle of poverty and empowers people to live sustainable lives.

This morning, a delegation led by Anna Vekka, Edu Nation partnership specialist, and Eric Sang Skill Dove Limited had a meeting with Baringo Governor H.E. Benjamin Cheboi at his office.

Skill Dove company partners with Edu Nation from Finland where it connects and places students abroad to study degree and diploma courses.

The meeting was a blueprint for opening up Baringo County and connecting it to the outside world through education.

The students will not only get access to quality education but will also get an opportunity to work at a highly competitive environment in the entire Europe.

The company has engaged the County Government on how the placement of students to go study different programs in different institutions can be achieved through mutual agreement.

They have active programs running and intakes ongoing throughout the year.

Additionally, this will be a milestone to people who have been yearning for opportunities to study abroad.

This program however plays a key role in economic empowerment through the "bringing back to the society" by the beneficiaries of the program. Skill Dove Limited will facilitate and make the process easy and quick.

Other officers present were; CEC Education Dr. David Sergon, Ag. CS Elijah Kipkoros, Abraham Koech - assistant administrator Skill Dove Limited, Kevin Nyagi ICT Manager, and Tabitha Limo - Application specialist.
